Justin I, 518-527. Tremissis (Gold, 14 mm, 1.46 g, 7 h), Constantinopolis. D N IVSTINVS P P AVI Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Justin I to right. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM / CONOB Victory advancing right, her head turned to left, holding wreath in her right hand and globus cruciger in her left; in field to right, star. DOC 4. MIB 5. SB 58. An excellent piece, lustrous and very well struck. A few minor marks, otherwise, good extremely fine.
